After years of experience in financial statement audit, corporate controllership, and SEC reporting, we developed a deep appreciation for strong financial systems, accurate reporting, and disciplined oversight. The firm initially began as a general accounting practice, serving a wide range of organizations.
Over time, as we partnered with clients across different industries, we discovered both a growing need—and a deep personal fulfillment—in serving churches. Many churches were leading vibrant ministries without clear financial insight, making it difficult for leadership to plan confidently and steward resources well.
Egan Financial Services was ultimately shaped by that calling: to provide churches with financial clarity, sound accounting, and thoughtful advisory support so leaders can focus on advancing their ministries with confidence, integrity, and faithfulness.

Meet the Founder
Janet J. Egan, CPA, is the founder of Egan Financial Services LLC, where she partners with churches and mission-driven organizations to bring integrity, clarity, and financial insight.
With more than 20 years of accounting experience, Janet began her career in audit at Deloitte LLP before spending 15 years in corporate accounting and SEC reporting. She later served as a Corporate Controller, gaining deep expertise in financial oversight, reporting, and leadership-level decision support.
After years in the corporate environment, Janet felt called to apply that experience in service of nonprofit and ministry organizations. Today, she helps church leaders and mission-driven teams strengthen their financial systems, gain clarity around their numbers, and steward resources with confidence so they can focus on advancing their mission.
